Inspired by the intricacy of oriental art, Conrad Shanghai explores the eloquent relationship between contemporary and traditional Chinese elements. We created this connection by using furniture and the architectural base to provide the modern aspect, while the soft furnishings and artwork provide the traditional aspect through the use of colour, texture and cultural motifs.
Stack’s scope on this project includes the refurbishment of suites, corridors and lift lobbies.
The breath-taking views can be enjoyed from every room. The layout was designed to optimise guests’ views without any obstacles – whether it’s working in the living area, recharging in bed or on the chaise lounge, or while relaxing in the bath. A unique bathroom layout was integrated into the design, featuring an island vanity with an integrated bathtub.
The launch marks Conrad's debut in Shanghai and is its largest property in Asia.
