Shangri-La at The Marina resort is in Cairns, on the coast of Far North Queensland, with easy access to Australia’s Great Barrier Reef.
Stack Studio was tasked with the overall refurbishment of the hotel took full advantage of the hotel’s seaside location.
The new colour palette reflects the nautical surroundings. The senses are stimulated by the textures of warm timber combines with calming tones of the ocean. Playful gestures like the graphic accents on the walls capture the vibrant, youthful atmosphere of Cairns.
The suites feature work by local artists, adding that touch of elegance synonymous with the Shangri-La brand.
