As part of Hilton Sydney's recent transformation, Stack Studio was engaged to refurbish the historic Marble Bar — a 130-year-old venue of significant cultural and architectural value.
With original walls and ceilings protected by heritage guidelines, all new elements had to be carefully designed to sit in harmony with the existing fabric. Our approach balanced heritage sensitivity with contemporary functionality, introducing a rich, earthy palette, bespoke lighting, and modular furnishings to enhance flexibility and guest experience.
The result is a refined reinterpretation that honours the past while supporting the needs of a modern hospitality venue.
