Stack Studio continues its fruitful relationship with Shangri-La on their latest 5-star hotel in Shanghai. Located in the newest hotspot of this cultured mega-city, the hotel captures the best of both western and eastern design aesthetics.
The design narrative traces the rich history of Shanghai and its many cultural influences. The success of the design falls on balance – the perfect balance between The Traditional and The Modern, with references to both the colonial history and the oriental heritage of the city.
Stack’s scope for this project includes the hotel’s main front of house areas including the main lobby, guest-rooms and suites as well as corridors and lift lobbies.
